INCOLOY® Alloy A-286

1.4980 / UNS S66286

An iron-nickel-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum and titanium which achieves high strength by precipitation hardening. The alloy has good oxidation and mechanical properties at temperatures up to 700°C. It is highly fabricable and combined with it’s strength this makes it’s the alloy of choice for various applications in both aircraft and industrial gas turbines and also for fasteners in the automotive sector and in the off-shore industries.
