NILO® Alloy 48
1.3922/1.3926/1.3927 / UNS K94800
A binary nickel-iron alloy containing 48% nickel. It has a coefficient of thermal expansion that very closely matches that of soda-lime type glasses and as such one of it’s main uses is for glass-to-metal sealing applications. It is also used as thermostats in industrial application s at temperatures up to 450 °C.
